Welcome at Max Constant

Through workshops, we offer your company or department a unique method to nurture awareness about intercultural (mis)understanding, as well as practical tools to counteract this misunderstanding. The goal here is to foster trust among employees. The effectiveness of your department or business depends on that trust. We engage in dialogues out of interest and to ensure better understanding of the values and beliefs of others.
Knowledge and skill aimed at effectiveness is what Max Constant focuses on. Multidisciplinary backgrounds (history, philosophy, business) and personal experiences ensure the necessary creativity to remove contemporary bottlenecks. In this context, literature is fundamental. Max Constant creates his own written work to serve as input for the workshops and maintain the knowledge level. The book ‘Sunflight’ is the first work created with this intention.
Not constantly maximal, but maximally constant. That is Max Constant.

Video: The Right to Exist of Max Constant
To capture the soul of Max Constant, two videos.
The first is a part of Jordi Savall's concert where the piece Üsküdara is played, with a touching intermezzo by Savall's late wife, Montserrat Figueras. The emotion is visible on the faces of all musicians, from all parts of the world. The piece played is a well-known song in many cultures across the Balkans and eventually in Turkey. The video symbolizes positive and complementary cultural diversity.
The second is a preview from a documentary where Üsküdara Gideriken is also central, but now as a symbol of conflict. In Whose is this song - a documentary by the Bulgarian Adela Peeva - she explores the cultural interpretations and origins of the song. In Bulgaria, Turkey, Greece, Macedonia, Albania, Bosnia, Serbia, they all see it slightly differently and claim the song as their own cultural production. This is an example of destructive and exclusive cultural diversity.
